Wholemeal Flour
We grow wheat on the farm which is then stoneground in our Mill to become Pimhill Wholemeal Flour.
Our wheat is grown without any chemical or synthetic inputs and we manage to keep the weeds at bay (most of the time...) by weeding with the tractor and a trailed harrow comb weeder.
Grinding flour in millstones is a centuries old tradition and is very slow in comparison to modern milling. We believe that slow is the key to quality. The grain is not heated up during milling so that it retains its natural qualities and flavour.
